The administrative center is composed of 3 buildings, including a former perfume factory, the \u00ab&nbsp;Lesquendieu Factory&nbsp;\u00bb, built in the <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">1930s<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> with brick facades, and two other extension buildings built in the 1960s -1970s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align); color: rgb(16, 72, 98);\">The energy-efficient renovation of the Saint-Just Administrative Center aimes to improve the global energy performance of the buildings with the goal of <\/span><b style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align); color: rgb(16, 72, 98);\">90 kWhef\/m\u00b2.year<\/b><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align); color: rgb(16, 72, 98);\"> (absolute value by 2030 \u2013 15%) in comparison to the buildings\u2019 current energy consumption of : 146 kWhef\/m\u00b2.year. Furthermore, this project also aimes to instore an architectural harmony to all of the building\u2019s facades in order to create a single architectural unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">To achieve these goals, AR ARCHITECTES (architect and representative of the project) and the engineering consultant VERDI, carried out an exhaustive <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">thermal, bioclimatic and environmental analysis<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> of each facade. This approach allowed us to propose relevant and innovative solutions, adapted to the architectural, technical and climatic characteristics of each facade in order to optimize the scope of work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">For the facades suffering from extreme summer heat, and those suffering from thermal loss in the winter, our solution is to propose an <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">exterior thermal isolation<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> by <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">biosourced materials (rigid wood fiber panels).<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> All the current windows and doors will be replaced by double-glazed frames equiped with different <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">heat-protection system<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> like the <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">Venitian blinds integrated in the glass<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">. The materials used are biosourced, recyclable, highly performent that require minimal maintenance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">Our team instored an <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">architectural harmony to all of the building\u2019s facades<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\"> by choosing metal panels and mineral coating using the same light-toned shade. The exterior thermal insulation will be lined with a mineral coating, while the brick facades of the 1930s building will be cleaned and the moldings refinished. All the exterior frames and doors will be anthracite gray. These color choices aim to recreate the exterior appearance of the old perfume factory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">This innovative and ambitious project aims both to transform all of the buildings of the Saint-Just Administrative Center into and <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; text-align: var(--text-align);\">energy efficient building<\/b><span style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">, while ensuring maximum comfort for users, and <\/span><b style=\"color: rgb(16, 72, 98); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;
