Affairs<\/strong> as part of <strong>World Environment Day<\/strong>, held on <strong>June 5th, 2026 at the Ministerial Conference Centre in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Entitled <em>\u201cEcological transition: what is the Ministry doing?\u201d<\/em>, this event will bring together institutional stakeholders and experts in environmental transition to discuss public action and the decarbonisation of policies and international projects.<\/p><p>The event will be opened by <strong>El\u00e9onore Caroit<\/strong>, Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad.<\/p><p>The round table will notably bring together:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Barbara Pompili<\/strong>, who will share her perspective on the international challenges of ecological transition;<\/li><li><strong>Anne Boillon<\/strong>, High Official for Sustainable Development, who will present the actions undertaken by the Ministry in managing its real estate assets;<\/li><li>a representative of the Ministry\u2019s Directorate-General for Global Affairs, who will address the integration of environmental issues into France\u2019s international action;<\/li><li><strong>Ruba Alabed<\/strong>, architect, founder of AR ARCHITECTES and General Delegate of Club ADEME International.<\/li><\/ul><p>On this occasion, <strong>Ruba ALABED<\/strong> will present the flagship project of the <strong>Diplomatic Campus in Doha, Qatar<\/strong>, developed for the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.<\/p><p>This project illustrates an ambitious environmental approach based on HQE performance targets and notably integrates:<\/p><ul><li>a bioclimatic design optimising energy demand;<\/li><li>the use of bio-based materials such as rammed earth and wood fibre insulation for the building envelope;<\/li><li>innovative energy systems, including passive cooling strategies such as a ground-coupled heat exchanger (Canadian well);<\/li><li>an optimised water management strategy including filtration gardens, greywater reuse, and condensate recovery systems.<\/li><\/ul><p>Through this intervention, AR ARCHITECTES highlights an integrated approach to sustainable architecture, serving environmental performance and the exemplary nature of public projects internationally.<\/p><p>We warmly thank the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs for the invitation and for
