As Eau de Paris vacated the building on rue Neuve Tolbiac to move into its new headquarters, the project aimed to restore the façade to its original condition. The works included the removal of the public drinking water fountain and the installation of new glazing identical to the existing one.
As the interior layout constituted a constraint for the installation of the double glazing, selective demolition works were carried out. The studies also addressedthe removal of two “Eau de Paris” signslocated on both street façades.
AR ARCHITECTES acted as the project’s lead architect, supporting Eau de Paris through a full architectural services commission, while coordinating the work of the two construction companies.
