We are proud to support Eau de Paris, owner and client in the thermal refurbishment and low-carbon extension of the Atelier des Ormes, located in Les Ormes-sur-Voulzie (Seine-et-Marne, France), alongside BOST Ingénierie and EUROELEC SMART ENERGY.
The project involves the energy renovation of the existing workshop together with the construction of a new timber bioclimatic extension dedicated to machining activities. Designed in accordance with the HQE® (High Environmental Quality) approach, the project has been carefully integrated into a remarkable natural environment classified as both a ZNIEFF area and a Natura 2000 site.
The use of bio-based materials, including thermo-oiled Douglas fir timber treated with linseed oil and hemp and cotton insulation, together with a bioclimatic design that enhances both winter and summer comfort, a sedum green roof contributing to the sustainable management of stormwater, and high-performance energy solutions, reflects our commitment to sustainable, low-carbon architecture that respects and enhances its surrounding environment.
