Project aiming for HQE certification – “EXCEPTIONAL” performance level, in accordance with the design intent and program, on behalf of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, acting as the project owner.
✨ A flagship project showcasing French know-how in climate-resilient architecture and landscape design ☀️🌳🌍
🏡 Bioclimatic architecture in an arid environment • Building structures completed at 95% (pending PGE2 on the west side) • South-facing solid earth wall insulation ☀️ completed at 85–90%. The inclined reinforced concrete wall still needs to be completed up to level R+2 in order to allow earth infill
🚧 Sustainable materials and technical solutions • External and internal insulation using bio-based materials (wood fiber) ♻️: installation in progress • Canadian wells installed at a depth of 2.5 m and coupled with a double-flow ventilation system ❄️: 95% completed. Remaining works include the installation of ventilation ducts at the entrance of each system with Chinese hats, as well as the air handling units beneath the basements
🧱 Earthworks and networks • Gabion walls for the stabilization of slopes and ramps: sample approved ✅ • Separate networks (greywater, blackwater, air-conditioning condensate water) 💦: 100% completed. 80–85% completed within the buildings (pending PGE2 and a few remaining connections in each building)
