CASE STUDY OF THE ANTI-FLOOD PUMPING STATION PROJECT IN VITRY-SUR-SEINE
The AR ARCHITECTES agency is delighted to share with you the publication produced by CONSTRUCTION 21 FRANCE concerning the case study of an agency project: the Seine anti-flood pumping station of Vitry-sur-Seine.
This resilient HQE project was carried out on behalf of the Department of Val-de-Marne, project owner and technical project manager of the Seine anti-flood pumping station.
AR ARCHITECTES, architect of the project, is proud to have supported this client in the construction of this innovative eco-designed project which fights against the risks of flooding of rainwater due to the waterproofing of the city.
The building was designed with durable materials, 100% insulated with wood fiber, fighting against the heat island effect, covered in rust-flower-tinted braided aluminum and equipped with a fifth facade, a low-carbon green roof visible from the street and the A86 overlooking the site.
The challenge was to combine the functionality of resilient infrastructure with sustainable and harmonious construction in its near and distant environment.
We would like to take advantage of this publication to thank the Department of Val de Marne for its trust.
