Construction Progress at the Doha Diplomatic Campus

Construction is progressing steadily at the future Doha Diplomatic Campus, with the structural works now nearing completion.

Among the latest milestones, the foundation footings for the filtration basins have been completed. These structures are a key feature of the project and demonstrate an innovative approach to stormwater management through phytoremediation in an arid climate. By harnessing the natural filtering capacity of plants, they fully support the project’s High Environmental Quality (HQE) strategy and contribute to a more sustainable management of water resources.

Work is also progressing on the south-facing rammed earth insulated walls, where backfilling is now close to completion. At the same time, the installation of rock wool insulation behind the stone cladding has been completed, marking another significant milestone in the construction of the building’s high thermal-mass envelope.

The façades are progressively taking on their final appearance with the installation of the cladding systems. In particular, the installation of the GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) façade panels on the Ambassador’s private residence now reveals the architectural identity of the building and represents another important milestone in the project’s development.

The project is now entering a new phase, where its architectural and environmental ambitions are becoming increasingly tangible. Each milestone reached reinforces the vision of a development that combines performance, sustainability and construction excellence.
